Currently a freelance Character Artist, William has recently been a Character Artist at Lost Cosmonauts and Plastic Wax.
William's career in film and television started in 2009 in the Weta Workshop Design Department as a Concept Artist. Transitioning into the rapidly expanding Weta Workshop 3D Department as a Digital Sculptor by 2015 William took on the role of Head of 3D at Weta Workshop. 2017 brought about a change in role to 3D Digital Systems and Technology Manager, involved managing key relationships with software vendors, tertiary education providers and government R&D fund managers. Managing Digital Manufacturing R&D projects in the 3D Department had become an increasing part of the job which led to the role of Senior Digital Manufacturing R&D Specialist in 2019. William is in addition, extremely uncomfortable talking about himself at all let alone in the third person.
